Hello, I'm John McNally. I have unique experience navigating the economic, security, diplomatic and media landscape, helping leaders achieve results for themselves, their countries, and their organizations from Washington DC, London and Singapore.

I have worked on every continent and across the financial and political spectrum, dealing with high pressure situations and billion-dollar deals. I am as comfortable in refugee camps as I am in Board Rooms and political offices.

I’ve learnt from and worked with the best. My training as a detective and in counter-terrorism taught me to focus on evidence and facts over any narrative.

My schooling in scenario planning by the Singapore government, and experience with major events and crises, taught me that a lack of imagination is the enemy of success.

My experience with international finance taught me the importance of building sovereignty. We are now bombarded with information, competing narratives and choices.

Unforeseen threats or sabotage can change the status quo overnight. Success today no longer means success tomorrow.

I have a forensic approach to diagnosing problems, identifying patterns in chaos, anticipating threats and opportunities, and helping deliver results.

My ability to distinguish signal from noise meant that I foresaw the victory of Brexit and Donald Trump and China's moves on Hong Kong.

I am not a typical consultant. I am quick to build rapport but believe in speaking truth to power.
